Red and black are the best colors to use. Decorate with pictures of pirates’ ships, cardboard anchors and parrots. Pirate flags on doors and pirate pennant banners on walls certainly add to the ambiance too.
If possible ask for the children to come dressed as pirates. Have kids wear a black vest on top of a long sleeved white shirt and boots on top of black pants. A red scarf or long piece of red cloth around the waist and a pirate scarf hat will finish off the outfit. Check our plastic swords with eye patch and don’t forget to color a front tooth black or gold!
